Lola Young

Lola Young was an American singer and actress, born on July 20, 1924 in Akron, Ohio. She passed away on March 23, 2017 at the age of 92 in Toluca Lake, California. Lola was best known for her role as Edie Hart, a sultry singer and girlfriend of private eye Peter Gunn, on the TV series Peter Gunn. In addition to her acting career, Lola had a passion for music from a young age and studied piano for two decades. Both of her parents were gospel music singers.

During her time on Peter Gunn, Lola's talent shone through and she received a nomination for the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress (Continuing Character) in a Dramatic Series in 1959. Her captivating performances left a lasting impression on audiences.
