Atlantic is a renowned US record label that was founded in 1947 by Ahmet Ertegun, Herb Abramson, and Miriam Abramson. Over the years, it has grown into one of the leading companies in the music industry, known for its commitment to artistry and quality. In 1967, Atlantic was purchased by Warner Bros. film studio and operated alongside ATCO Records as separate entities. The label continued to expand its influence when it acquired Elektra in 1970, forming the Warner-Elektra-Atlantic alliance.

Neil Young is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter and musician known for his solo releases, collaborations with other artists, and his activism on environmental and political issues. He plays guitar, keyboards, and harmonica. Born in Toronto, Canada in 1945, Young currently holds dual citizenship for Canada and the United States. He has been living in California since the sixties. In 1995, he was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame as a performer. Despite facing delays due to his marijuana use, Young successfully became a United States citizen.
Young's musical career spans several decades and genres including folk rock, country rock, and grunge. As an influential figure in the music industry, he has released numerous critically acclaimed albums both as a solo artist and with various bands such as Crosby Stills Nash & Young (CSNY).
In addition to his musical pursuits, Neil Young also runs Vapor Records - an independent record label that supports emerging artists. His passion for environmental causes led him to co-found Farm Aid - an annual benefit concert that raises funds for family farmers.

Neil Young's surreal 1982 comedy 'Human Highway' finally gets released on DVD. 'Human Highway' tells the story of a group of regulars at a small-town diner / gas station, with a nuclear power plant accidentally triggering the end of the world. Young, who plays a dim-witted gas station employee, co-wrote and co-directed the film, which also features the five members of Devo as a group of power plant employees. The low-budget film was a labour of love for Young. He spent four years shooting it, and the last three decades tinkering around with it.
