Los Crudos

Los Crudos is a DIY political hardcore punk band from Chicago, Illinois. Fronted by vocalist Martin Sorrondeguy, all of the band members were of Latino descent and their lyrics were exclusively in Spanish. Formed in 1991, Los Crudos had a strong impact on the punk scene until their last show in October 1998.

After their breakup, Martin Sorrondeguy went on to form [a1021841], a hardcore band consisting of all gay members. Additionally, he started the DIY label [l48441] to release records not only for Los Crudos but also for other Chicago bands.

With their powerful music and uncompromising message, Los Crudos remains an influential force in the punk genre even years after disbanding. Their commitment to activism and representation continues to inspire new generations of musicians and fans alike.
