Description

Click † Clicks’ connection to electronic music began early on, sparked by Kraftwerk, whom he listened to as a child, and developed into a lifelong fascination with machines, rhythm and repetition. Starting with minimal techno, his sound has continually evolved through Chicago, Jackin’ and acid house, before settling into a harder, industrial techno style. This evolution is driven more by experience than by trends – refined through years of production, label work and club appearances around the world. The EP opener “Revolution Ecstasy” transports the listener to excessive nights on packed dancefloors, where sweat, strobe lights and industrial force merge into a single, uninterrupted frenzy. “Strassen” reflects this journey without nostalgia. The title track builds on relentless forward momentum and urban rawness, broken up by a sudden, unpredictable break and the raw analogue energy of the Moog Grandmother.

“UFOs at Griessmühle” brings a playful, kinetic touch to the mix. Break-driven rhythms and a rolling acid bassline collide with otherworldly vocals, striking a balance between warehouse pressure and mischievous energy – a tribute to the Berlin underground spirit. Rounding off the EP, “Repeat Function” delivers hypnotic industrial techno, driven by repetitive patterns and mechanical intensity.
