Description

Dan Hicks' three albums for Blue Thumb Records, dating from 1971, 1972, and 1973 - all made the US Top 200 Albums chart. The band's music is an unlikely combination of jazz, swing, country, and bluegrass.

At the end of 1971, Hicks broke the band up and went more or less into retirement. Over the next few years, he sporadically gigged and recorded, but by the mid-80s, he had thrown himself back into regularly recording and gigging almost up till his untimely death in 2016.

Digitally remastered and slipcased, and with extensive new notes.
