Featuring lyricist Debbie Clarkin and Frank ‘Pago Pago’ Passalacqua – lead singer with Gichy Dan. Plus additional musicians including the Coconuts’ Carol Coleman, Ken Fradely and Lee Robertson. Originally released in 1983 after August notced up UK Top 10 hits with the singles ‘I’m A Wonderful Thing (Baby)’, ‘Stool Pigeon’ and ‘Annie, I’m Not Your Daddy’ in 1982. The last of which came from his UK #3 album ‘Tropical Gangsters’. ‘A Night In New York’ was the album’s first single and was a big airplay hit in the UK.
