The Thai Capsule Project was inspired by a scene from Bee's forthcoming story High On Platforms. The exhibition centres around a metal box that was discovered in a grimy Bangkok guest house in the late 1980's. Inside is a cassette tape, a book of old stories and old photographs, newspaper clippings and peculiar animist trinkets.The stories tell tales based on Thai animism of fake-death motorcycle rides, soul stealing temple birds and shrines that manifest animated death predictions.
