Limbo, Panto, the debut album from Wild Beasts, is a collection of ten beautiful, eccentric, very British tales. It's likely to be the most unique album you will hear this year.

The album was recorded in Malmo, Sweden with producer Tore Johannson (who also worked on Franz Ferdinand's first album) and features songs about grave-robbing, non league football, untold perversion, clip clopping coconut shells and the wildest falsetto since Billy Mackenzie.

Wild Beasts are a wonderfully florid rethink of olde english indie from the Lake District. Think somewhere in-between music hall melodrama and Orange Juice. Absolutely ravishing stuff.
