2Pac was an American rapper and actor, born on June 16, 1971 in East Harlem, New York. He began his career as a roadie for the group Digital Underground before being signed by Interscope Records in 1990. In 1995, he moved to Death Row Records. Alongside his music career, he also pursued acting and starred in films like Juice (1992) and Above The Rim (1994). Tragically, on September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas and passed away six days later.
