2Pac was an American rapper and actor, born on June 16, 1971 in East Harlem, New York. He began his career as a roadie for the group Digital Underground before being signed by Interscope Records in 1990. In 1995, he moved to Death Row Records. Alongside his music career, he also pursued acting and starred in films like Juice (1992) and Above The Rim (1994). Tragically, on September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas and passed away six days later.

Strictly 4 My NIGGAZ is the second studio album from Tupac Shakur. The title is an acronym for Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished; the "Z" in the title makes it a plural. Similar to his debut, 2Pacalypse Now, the album contains many tracks emphasizing 2Pac's political and social views. This album saw more commercial success than its predecessor. While Tupac's first effort included a more underground or indie-rap-oriented sound, this album was considered his "breakout" album. It spawned the hits Keep Ya Head Up and I Get Around and has since reached double platinum status. In honour of this classic albums 25th anniversary it is reissued on 2LP, 180 gram black vinyl for the first time.
