65daysofstatic is a math/post rock band based in Sheffield, UK. The band was founded in 2001 by Joe Shrewsbury (also known as JoeFro), Paul Wolinski, and Iain Armstrong. In May 2003, Iain Armstrong left the band. Graham Clarke (also known as Feedle) briefly joined in 2003, but ultimately Rob Jones and Gareth Hughes became permanent members at the end of that year. However, Gareth Hughes left the band again around September 2004 and was replaced by Simon Wright.

Since their formation, 65daysofstatic has been creating unique and captivating music that blends elements of math rock and post rock genres. Their sound is characterized by intricate guitar work, complex rhythms, and atmospheric textures.
