Third Man Records was founded in 2001 by Jack White, Ben Swank, and Ben Blackwell in Detroit. In 2010, they established a physical location in Nashville, TN. The TMR building serves as the company headquarters and houses the label's offices, a vinyl record store, photo studio, dark room, and performance stage.
