Donna Summer was an American singer, songwriter, pianist, painter, and actress. She was born on December 31, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts and passed away on May 17, 2012 in Englewood, Florida at the age of 63 due to lung cancer. Known as the "Queen of Disco," "Boston Panther," and "First Lady of Love," Donna Summer gained her stage name from Helmut Sommer, an Austrian actor whom she was married to for two years. She had a daughter named Mimi Sommer with him. Donna's sisters are Dara Bernard and Mary Bernard. In 1980, she married Bruce Sudano and they have two daughters together: Brooklyn and Amanda Grace Sudano. In recognition of her contributions to music, Donna Summer was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 by Kelly Rowland.

Within a year of her ground-breaking Double-Album Bad Girls, Donna Summer left Casablanca Records to become the first Artist signed to the new Geffen Records label. Donna’s ‘80s close-out album was 1989’s Another Time and Place, which paired her with multi- hit making, multi-million-selling UK producers Stock Aitken Waterman. The album’s lead single ‘This Time I Know It’s For Real’ was an uplifting, club floorfiller and radio- friendly hit, peaking at #3 in the UK (#7 on the US Billboard Hot 100), giving Donna her highest charting single for more than a decade. Four further singles were released from the album including the two Top 20 hits, ‘I Don’t Wanna Get Hurt’ and ‘Love’s About To Change My Heart’, giving Donna back-to-back UK Top 10 hits for the first time since 1977, as well as remixed versions of ‘When Love Takes Over You’ and ‘Breakaway’.

2CD - This version is packaged as a 2CD In Seven-Inch Deluxe Gatefold Packaging, with 8-page booklet containing the lyrics and personal recollections by Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman. This new edition features two previously unreleased re-edits, as well as a brand new remix of ‘In Another Place And Time’, produced by legendary PWL Mixmaster, Pete Hammond, alongside a selection of 7” Versions, Extended Mixes and two further new re-edits.

LP+ - This half-speed master version has been newly mastered by Phil Kinrade, and expertly cut using transfers of the original digital audio tapes using precision half-speed mastering by Cicely Balston at AIR Mastering, London and is pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl, with a 4-page insert containing the lyrics and personal recollections by Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman.
