Fun Boy Three were well known faces in the 2 Tone movement. After the split of The Specials, singers Terry Hall, Neville Staples, and Lynval Golding formed Fun Boy Three. Their first single was already recorded with producer Dave Jordan when "Ghost Town" reached UK#1 on July 11, 1981.

As prominent members of The Specials, Fun Boy Three brought their unique style and sound to the music scene. With their catchy tunes and infectious energy, they quickly gained a loyal following.

With hits like "Our Lips Are Sealed" and "The Lunatics (Have Taken Over the Asylum)," Fun Boy Three made a lasting impact on the music industry. Their fusion of reggae, pop, and new wave created a sound that was both innovative and timeless.

The roots of Chrysalis stretch back to a tiny flat in West London in 1967, when former university social secretaries, Chris Wright and Terry Ellis, linked their flair for managing and booking bands to form the Ellis Wright Agency. After trying to release their bands' records via other companies, they decided to start their own label.

In 1968, they signed a licensing deal with Island Records with the proviso that if their acts achieved an agreed number of hits, they would be awarded a label of their own. Within a year, this tally was reached and Chrysalis Records was born.

Over the years, Chrysalis went through various ownership changes. In 1985, Chris Wright bought out Terry Ellis and later sold the label to EMI in 1991. EMI was then acquired by Universal Music Group in 2012 before selling the Parlophone Label Group (including Chrysalis) to Warner Music Group in 2013.

Following on from the success of their debut album and a one off single, a cover of the George Gershwin's 'Summertime', the Fun Boy Three went into the studio at the end of 1982 with David Byrne (Talking Heads) producing. The album features the singles ‘The More I See (The Less I Believe)', ‘The Tunnel of Love' and ‘Our Lips Are Sealed', the later is co-written with Jane Wiedlin of The Go Go's who supported The Specials on tour in the UK in 1980. The album took on a more sophisticated sound and lyrical content, tackling more political issues like the troubles in Northern Ireland. It also has a cover of the Miss Marple theme tune from the 1960's film series Murder She Said starring Margaret Rutherford. The album reached number 14 in the UK charts in February 1983 followed by a tour, after which the band disbanded.

This newly remastered edition of the album will be released on 180gm blue vinyl, with a spot gloss sleeve and printed inner.
