H to He Who Am the Only One has been stunningly remixed from the original multi-track tapes as a 3-disc edition including a new stereo mix and 5.1 surround sound mix by Stephen W Tayler. Like most seventies progressive rock bands, Van Der Graaf Generator thrive on complexity. The arrangements on this particular album are by no means clinical or mathematical, but each song has a somewhat irregular and meandering dramatic arc. Each song is tied together by means of recurring themes, and the whole album is tied together by means of one main theme: isolation. the music is dominated by Peter Hammill's distinct vocals and the sometimes spacey organ of Hugh Banton. Features a guest appearance from King Crimson's Robert Fripp.
